Harry Must Die

Harry Must Die

Original: America Pie

Artist: Don McLean

A long, long time ago...

I can still remember

How the magic used to make me smile.

And I knew if I had my chance

That I could take over all of France

And, maybe, they'd let me be for a while.

But Harry Potter made me shiver

With every spell I'd deliver.

That scar of his would protect

My plan I needed to perfect.

I can't remember the time of spent,

Tracking down where Harry went,

But pride will swell up inside,

The day Harry Potter dies.

So bye-bye, Harry Potter boy.

Drove my patience to the limit,

But I will survive.

And that scar in your head will be your demise.

Singing, "Soon Voldemort will rise.

Soon Voldemort will rise."

Did you write the book of love,

And do you have faith in your Mother's love,

If Dumbledore tells you so?

Do you believe that ancient scroll,

Magic won't save your mortal soul,

I can teach you how to die real slow?

Well, I know that you're an issue boy

Don't you know your wand is not a toy

Spells that knock you off your broom

Practicing in that hidden room.

I was a lonely teenage warlock

With a wand that only you did block,

But I know you'll run out of luck

The day her magic dies.

I started singing,

"Bye-bye, Harry Potter boy."

Drove my patience to the limit,

But I will survive.

And that scar in your head will be your demise.

Singing, "Soon Voldemort will rise.

Soon Voldemort will rise."

Now for ten years I've been on my own

Seeking out the sorcerers stone,

But that's not how it should be.

Before the Dark Mark hung for all to see,

No one feared who I would be

Rather alike as wizards, you and me,

Oh, Dumbledore was impressed of course,

Praised my ability 'til he was hoarse

Such a curious young kid

Delved into magic they forbid.

When others did begin to fear

The professors told me "Now listen here."

But into the Dark Arts I did peer.

The day weak Riddle died.

I started singing,

"Bye-bye, Harry Potter boy."

Drove my patience to the limit,

But I will survive.

And that scar in your head will be your demise.

Singing, "Soon Voldemort will rise.

Soon Voldemort will rise."

I caught a ride on Quirrell's back

'Cause my body’s a bit slack

I frankly found wits he did lack

Fighting you can be such a bore

Getting rid of you seems a chore

Why must I wait for this day?

And in the end your friends will die

Some bridges will blow up and muggles will fry

A lot of folks will be croakin'

Your Mother’s charm will be broken

And the wizard you admire most

Will meet a foe and end up toast

Well, I'm still here, you'll be a ghost

The day Harry Potter dies.

Everyone's singing,

"Bye-bye, Harry Potter boy."

Drove my patience to the limit,

But I will survive.

And that scar on your head will be your demise.

Singing, "Soon Voldemort will rise.

Soon Voldemort will rise."

We were singing,

"Bye-bye, Harry Potter boy."

Drove my patience to the limit,

But I will survive.

And that scar on your head will be your demise.

Singing, "Soon Voldemort will rise.

Soon Voldemort will rise."
